If you want to play Professional Baseball you have to love pitching.
You don’t have to love baseball…but you must love pitching.
Pitching is more than just another position on the field, you have complete control of the game.
The pitcher is the center of attention.
Do you like being the center of attention?
Starting out it’s more important than talent. If you can’t stand being the center of attention than pitching is not for you.
Pitching is hard and it puts a lot of pressure on you.
Your coaches, your teammates, your parents and the fans are all counting on you to win the game.
It sounds simple, but ask yourself these questions…
- Do you like being the center of attention?
- Do you like having everybody count on you?
- Do you love pitching?
It all starts right here. If you can answer yes to those 3 questions then you are on the right track emotionally and mentally to becoming a great pitcher.
Learning to pitch starts with an emotional and mental understanding of what it takes physically to be a great pitcher.
This is how I started at 10 years old in a small rural Missouri town.
I loved being the center of attention.
I loved having everyone count on me.
I loved pitching.
Do you really want to be a Professional Baseball Pitcher?
If you do…
You must love to pitch.
